Rocket Italian 6 Day Course - Day Six A Free Online Course Brought to You by Rocket Italian - The Ultimate Italian Learning Package
Ciao Reader, and Welcome to Day Six of the Rocket Italian 6 Day Course.
In this lesson, we’ll take a closer look at the written mechanics of the conversation you heard last time, then we’ll add to your bounty of survival phrases you can utilize whenever you feel the conversation slipping away.
By the time you finish the lesson, you’ll also be able to talk about your experience of studying the Italian language with anyone who will listen, and gracefully accept the compliment when someone comments on how well you’re doing.
You can access today’s lesson by going to the “Day 6″ link below. You can review the previous audio lesson one last time to cement the ideas in your head. And remember, this 6 day course is just a bite-sized sample of what you get in the full Rocket Italian package.

Congratulazioni (Congratulations), Reader,
In these six short lessons, you’ve covered the basics of conversational Italian, and created real opportunities to use the language. You’ll find yourself having these conversations again and again as you meet new people, and you’ll continue to build on them each time. This stuff is so useful that I’m sure you’ll put it to good use on a regular basis if you live in or travel to an Italian-speaking place.
Bravi. WELL DONE.
You now know how to introduce yourself in Italian, ask someone’s name, explain where you’re from, prevent conversations from slipping away, and accept a compliment like a natural. You have seen that there’s a lot more to Italian than vocabulary words or grammar.
The Italian language is dynamic and alive, and you’ve seen what it’s like to actually use it by hearing your own voice become part of the dialogue in the Interactive Audio lessons.
But, as you might guess, there is a lot more to learn if you are going to carry on a wide range of genuine conversations in Italian. Through my years of sharing my language with others, I’ve figured out how to strip it down and identify the basic building blocks of learning it from scratch.
I’ve been able to help so many total beginners start speaking Italian immediately and in lots of practical situations.
I created the Rocket Italian system because I want you - and enthusiastic learners everywhere - to enjoy speaking Italian. I’m not just talking about learning the basics of grammar and spelling and vocabulary. I’m talking about really and truly realizing the pleasure of speaking this beautiful language.
Rocket Italian will never make you feel like you’re in a classroom. But it WILL make you feel the wonderful reward of experiencing a foreign language as it’s meant to be understood and spoken.
That’s precisely why Rocket Italian is designed to suit a wide range of learning styles and needs. Whether you learn better by reading, by listening, by speaking, by doing exercises, or by playing interactive games, Rocket Italian offers a compelling and rewarding learning environment for you.
If you’re really serious about having fun with your learning, then it’s time to take the next step, and round that bend of your language learning curve.
You can get the full 31-lesson Rocket Italian Interactive Audio Course, in addition to the full members-only Grammar Newsletter Series, PLUS the hugely popular MegaItalian language learning games series, all downloaded directly to your computer.
And, because we also offer our audio lessons in MP3 format, you can make your learning PORTABLE by downloading these files to your iPod or mp3 player.
You’ll get games for MegaVocab (Italian vocabulary), MegaAudio (pronunciation and understanding of spoken Italian), and MegaVerbs (for getting your head around those Italian verbs).
So think about it. Consider how someone such as yourself, who is committed to learning a new language, can benefit from a popular and proven system brought to you by teachers who are committed to your success.
Thanks for spending your time with me either way. And all the best with your Italian-speaking ways.
In bocca al lupo, (Best of luck)
