Rocket Japanese Newsletter Series Brought to You by Rocket Japanese - The Ultimate Japanese Learning Package
Reader san Konnichiwa, and Welcome Back…
You may not have heard from us for a little while, but we are happy to say that the Rocket Japanese team has just gotten bigger, and that means we have decided to extend our popular free newsletter series sent to Rocket Japanese subscribers…
Tell me, how comfortable do you feel with Japanese greetings and goodbyes? I have noticed that some people take for granted the importance of proper greetings in Japan. Once they learn a simple, “Konnichiwa,” they move on to other things. However, first impressions are very important when there is no one who really knows you. What you first say to a person is going to determine the way the person speaks back to you.
In your next lessons, I’m going to review some of the most common “Aisatsu” (greetings) and “Owakare no kotoba” (farewells) you’ll hear in Japanese. You will also learn more possible responses to the questions, “Genki desu ka?” (How are you?).
You’ll find that lesson right here:
