Hola Reader,

Do you know what type of learner your child is?

If not, and they have problems, you may try to solve them the wrong way.

Here’s what I mean.

If your child is having trouble memorizing with flash cards (word to be memorized on one side of an index card, the meaning on the other), continuing to use flash cards is a waste of time.

No they are not paying attention when they use them. No they are not focused and giving it their all.

They don’t like flash cards because they don’t fit their style of learning.

Your job is to find out what method will appeal to them so they will pay attention and give it their all.

Mnemonics is one way to help your child with memorization because is appeals to two different learning methods: auditory and visual.

The visual in particular is a big deal.

Take a moment, type into Google, “What learning style is my child?” and visit a page or two.

You may learn enough to help not only their memory problems but a host of others as well.
